Inspired by a skirt

Several weeks ago, in church, the woman sitting
in front of me had the cutest skirt... and it inspired me to make this card.

I started with a piece of watercolour paper and stamped the Beautiful Bouquet: Dahlia stamp
from Wplus9 in Versafine and heat embossed it in clear.
Then, I used my Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers and a water brush to colour them in,
as well as my background.

I stamped the sentiment from PTI's Winter Woods.

Papertrey Ink November Blog Hop

Today, I'm participating in the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop.

Our challenge was to use this beautiful photo as inspiration:

Isn't it pretty?
It actually inspired me to make a birthday card for Cameron's aunt.

I started by stamping the flowers outlines in versamark on watercolour paper
and then heat embossed them in white.
I stamped in the solid images in Tropical Teal, Limeade Ice, Raspberry Fizz and Summer Sunrise
and with a water brush, coloured over them and blurred the edges of them to give
a watercolour look.

I diecut a piece of raspberry fizz cardstock with my banner die from Get a Handle On It
and heat embossed my sentiment (from Tropics) in white.
